Buenos Dias…
So…I am officially on vacation from the day job…taking some time off to do a little extra writing and spend some much needed quality time with the family. On Tuesday…I am planning to unplug all together until about the 25th…no twitter, no facebook, no email and no texts…actually I will attempt what has never been done, I will actually not carry my blackberry or G1 with me at all the whole time I am away.
I am shaking as I write this…I have been a smartphone / blackberry user for over 6 years. Today I can pretty much run my website and all publicity campaigns without need for a computer. I am addicted to news and RSS feeds from great websites like Mashable, Engadget Mobile and from blogs like Efrain's Corner. I love to listen to Pandora and I cannot help but connect with my friends via social media all day long and talk about exciting projects like Capicu Cultural Showcase's return to Brooklyn on September 18th or about the Latino In Social Media Summit on October 1st & 2nd. I do not know how I am going to handle not having a window to the world in my hand.
Nonetheless…I have some stuff that will post so that you will not even notice I am gone…and I am going to run the best of sofrito on twitter in my absence…and when I get back…que comienze la fiesta otra vez mas!!!
