Rick Najera’s Interactive Comedy Hit, Sweet 15 ¡Que Quinceañera! Announces Guest Stars, Social Media Comedians Alexander Arias (Mr. Red) and Dairon Vasquez

MIAMI, FL — April 12, 2024 — (NOTICIAS NEWSWIRE) — Following its successful opening weekend, Rick Najera’s Sweet 15 ¡Que Quinceañera! bilingual live comedy continues this week, with the addition of two special guest stars, Alexander Arias, (Mr. Red) and Dairon Vazquez, for the next two weekend shows. This action-packed live comedy is currently running through April 28 at Renaissance at the Gables. On April 13-14, the show will feature social media sensation and comedian Alexander Arias known to fans as “Mr. Red.” Arias’ popularity blossomed on social media because of his relatable comedy skits that hit home for more than 400,000 followers across all his social platforms. As his popularity has grown, Arias has expanded to writing, producing, and acting.

From April 18-21, showgoers will have the opportunity to see Dairon Vazquez. Born in Cuba, and raised in Miami, Vazquez draws on firsthand experiences for his comedy. He started making video skits on social media portraying aspects of growing up and living in a typical Cuban American family. The relatable content has allowed him to transition from social media posts to live standup comedy shows.

Both stars will bring their own unique blend of comedy, and draw from their own experiences to add to this special show. Sweet 15 delves deep into the heart of a quinceañera celebration, a cherished Latina tradition that marks a young girl’s transition into womanhood. However, in this comedic production, a joyous rite of passage unfolds into a tale of unexpected (and literal) twists and turns, seven years late. The play is a valentine for families (especially Latino families) and shows the power of forgiveness as a father tries to win back his family after disappearing for seven years. Placed in an actual quinceañera hall, audiences will experience the exciting thrills of this immersive quinceañera. This Broadway-style extravaganza is set to be an unforgettable experience that will leave audiences singing along and laughing out loud.

Sweet 15 ¡Que Quinceañera! is the story of the Valderrama family as they prepare to celebrate their daughter’s quinceañera. There's only one problem - the quince is seven years late!
