The dual language program goes north to Broward County on Friday, May 17, 2024, to the Baptist Health Plantation campus.
The latest installment represents a unique collaboration with Baptist Health, aiming to support small business owners in prioritizing their health. During Mental Health Awareness Month, this event will offer valuable insights, resources and actionable strategies for Latina entrepreneurs to maintain their well-being as they tackle the demands of business ownership.
Two key event highlights include a healthy meal prep lesson with Latina food content creator Lily Ramirez of the popular Recetas Lily channel and a Baptist Health dietician, and a panel discussion featuring experts offering practical tips and advice for healing the mind-and-body connection as well as how to confidently navigate various lifecycle journeys. This discussion will provide attendees with valuable information and tools to manage a life phase such as perimenopause with resilience and readiness. The panel will feature:
- Dr. Ana Cecilia Botero:Radiation oncologist with Baptist Health Cancer Center
- Lali Litman: Certified pilates and yoga instructor, wellness and mind-body connection coach.
- Laura Posada: Menopause expert and wellness supplement brand owner
- Moderated by Anabelle Blum, Spanish-language television host, lifestyle expert and co-founder of Entre Mujeres LIVE!
