Raicies de Espana,

Mis padres, Hondurenos,

Sangre Latina,

carácter fuerte

Mente creativa,

Agresiva y feminina,

Nacida, como un hija,

Llamada, Karina.

Soy Americana,

Pero solo por nombre,

Mis sangre llenas de differentes naciones.

Mis abuelos son Mesclados,

Mestisos y Mulatos,

Aleman, Irlandes, Negro, India Maya,

De todos colores, pero sangre siempre roja,

Y Ahora,

Tu preguntas, que es mi identidad?

Yo soy hija de Adam,

Yo soy hija de Abraham,

De Issac y Israel,

Una tiera hecho de leche y miel,

Mi destino de una tierra prometida,

Soy creada de una Costilla,

Poreso yo soy Judia y Latina,

Con naciones bien unidas,

Pero siempre, una Jewtina. Judia y Latina

Karina “Eleven” Lopez is a New York City native who is an author, poet, lyricist and an educational director. Her published books include: Poems, Prose and Phases and Journals and Journeys of a Writer/Rider, which are both available on Amazon, Barnes and Nobel and itunes.com.  She has obtained her Bachelor’s  degree from City College and is currently working towards her Masters degree. When not doing poetry, she dedicates herself to serving the homeless youth. She is also a creative writing instructor and has hosted various community events in the Bronx.
