NBC Latino launched their new Facebook page today to deepen engagement with the Latino community and those that love the culture. The Facebook page launched early this morning… and instantly grabbed the attention of a good 25 people (including me).
NBC Latino had been working via TUMBLR and TWITTER for some time now… but it looks like they are ready for their close up as they announced the project and introduced their team to us via the new http://www.facebook.com/NBCLatinoFacebook page.
We encourage you to support this project in a time when our culture is being attacked in the political, educational and even in everyday mainstream media. We need to promote organizations that promote positive images in the media and create platforms that create dialog and discuss real solutions to the issues we face.
On behalf of the communities I represent, I would like to welcome NBC Latino to the Latino Cultural Diaspora on the web…
